Senior 2010

Sara is a senior at Latta High School. I got to know Sara last year on a mission trip to Belize. Sara is such a cool girl. She is smart, funny - and a good girl! The older I get the more I feel like these good girls are rare! Sara is also an awesome softball player for the Lady Panthers.
ALL OF SARA'S FRIENDS - Ask Sara about my promotion to help her get some free wallets!

I have really enjoyed photographing my seniors this year. I have been so lucky! All of my seniors have ROCKED!

Here are some of my faves of Sara...
I love this photo soooooooo much!
I love laughing photos (in case you haven't noticed!)

Baby Payton

I have known Krissy for a few years - she is almost family! Almost! We have the same cousins. I photographed her maternity session a few months ago and was dying to photograph baby Payton.
Payton is hilarious. He was not about to make things easy for us. ;) He made us work for it! He was not interested in sleep whatsoever. (which all newborns are- right?) He moved his mouth the entire time and made a million different expressions. He will be talking before you know it! You could tell he wanted to get it out so badly!

It is officially Senior season! :) This is one of my favorite times of the year. I absolutely love photographing seniors. I love for the photos to be more of a fashion shoot than a typical "sit with your fist under your chin and give me a big fake smile" kind of old fashion session. I love to make people feel good about themselves and I love when people love their photos!
My goal it to give each senior a unique experience.

My first senior for 2010 was Catie. I got to know Catie last March when we went to Belize. Catie is a great girl. (and I love that!) We found some new locations for Catie's session. But - one of those was full of huge mosquitos. I ended up covered. I know at one point I smacked four that were on Catie! EWW!! Despite the mosquito attack - we had so much fun! And her photos were beautiful!

Cecilia & David

David's daughter is my dear friend Elizabeth. So THANKS! Elizabeth, for sending this fun couple my way!

David and Cecilia had a western themed wedding in Stratford. Everything was just darling! Cecilia has some amazing friends that took care of every single detail and decorated everything so cute! They thought of everything! The food was a full "chuckwagon" style dinner. Then the bride and groom rode off in a wagon after the reception. ADORABLE!
Everything was perfect!

Busy Busy Worker Bee

Sooooooo I have been working so much and neglecting my blog! :( Sorry!
I promise to be better!

I just got home from the most fabulous family session ever! I absolutely loved the Rinehart family! Here is a little sneak peak-
Three teenage boys... so I am sure you can imagine how crazy it got. I was laughing so hard at one point I had to massage my face because it hurt so bad.
More to come on the Rinehart family soon....
It's wedding weekend... I get to photograph the beautiful Karlie! YAY! I'm so excited!

Nikki & Brian - The Wedding

Brian and Nikki are not only lucky in love but they are also just two incredibly lucky individuals in general. Driving to their outdoor wedding, I got stuck in an absolute downpour. The rain was so heavy I had to pull over because the rain was so heavy.
Your heart just aches for the bride when something like that happens because you know so much time and money has been put into the wedding day.
When I get there, Nikki was just smiling and as calm as calm could be. She is amazing!
But LUCKILY - shortly after I arrived, the rain stopped! We were able to get some amazing photos of the bride and groom with the stormy sky and even a rainbow!
The rain held off throughout the ceremony and even a little bit into the reception. Once again - luckily - everyone made it inside for the dancing before the storms began again.

Brian and Nikki -
You two are a terrific couple. I have thouroughly enjoyed getting to know you.
I wish the two of you a long life of love and happiness!
